Private & exclusive luxury mobile camps which are booked on private camp sites and are tended by private chefs, butlers and tent attendants are generally recognised to provide the ultimate Safari experience. 

Need to Know

Intimate Camps are staffed by private chefs, private butlers and private tent attendants all of whom are on call to cater to your every need. Camp sizes may vary between one accommodation tent for two persons only up to a maximum of 16 accommodation tents for a maximum of 32 people. Subject to availability, they can be booked almost anywhere on the Tanzania Northern Safari circuit on dates which best suit your itinerary.

Because our camps are for your own private use only, we are able to tailor the services we provide to your specific requirements. Hence, the menus served during the course of your stay, the beverages available from our well stocked bar, the configuration of the beds set-up in your tent(s) and even the distances between one tent and another are all discussed and agreed with you prior to your visit so that your enjoyment of your camp in assured.

Your own private camp can be set up almost anywhere you desire on the Tanzania Northern Safari circuit. Locations include Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park. For those guests wishing to travel further off the beaten path, far flung locations such as West Kilimanjaro and the Lakes of Natron or Eyasi may also be considered.

Depending upon the location where an Intimate Camp is booked, guests can literally view all of the wildlife and birdlife to be found in Northern Tanzania to include the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Serengeti National Park.

Accommodation tents, Family tents, day tent, breakfasts, lunches (hot and/or picnic hampers), pre-dinner bitings, dinners, an all-inclusive bar, room service, laundry services and the all-important camp fire. 

AccommodationAccommodation

Our accommodation tents measure 28 square meters and consist of a bedroom area, dressing area, en-suite flush toilet and a traditional hot water bush bucket shower. Each tent has its own power supply for lighting and to charge cameras, computers, tablets and mobile phones as required. Most tents are fitted with our unique "star-gazer" windows. 

Our new Family Tent measures 57 square meters and consists of two bedrooms, each with private dressing room, shower and toilet which are joined together by a lounge area which incorporates the entrance to the tent. Maximum capacity of the family tent is 6 people.

From US $495 per person per night to US $1360 per person per night depending upon the size of the camp booked, location and the number of nights stay. All rates are commissionable to bona fide tour operators.
