Msambweni Beach House

Msambweni House is set on a 40 feet high cliff in a quiet, unspoilt setting on the beach along a four mile coastline. Family owned and run, Msambweni House consists of the main house, with three spacious rooms, one ocean suite, and three totally private villas.




‘Beach Bliss’, a hedonistic escape that makes a perfect follow-on to bush adventures. With a private beach, infinity pool, complimentary massages, and a verandah for sunset cocktails, it’s pure relaxation.

The celebrated Belgian chef creates top-notch cuisine with Swahili, Belgian and French influences. Private beach picnics can be arranged and there is plenty to occupy: snorkelling, fishing and kite-surfing, and spa treatments and massages for the less athletic. Driving, walking, diving, canoe, cycling, fishing. Excursions to Kisite Marine Park, a great place for snorkelling and diving with turtles, swimming with dolphins (well-trained divers on a private boat) and lunch on Wasini Island.

Msambweni means ‘The Land of Sable Antelope’ but the main safari focus now is on an abundance of marine wildlife, including whales, dolphins and turtles. Game drives to Shimba Hills National Park and Tsavo National Park.
