Mugie's spacious cottages allow for spectacular views over the plains below. Guests have 46,000 acres of pristine bush to enjoy at their leisure with a warm and welcoming team to ensure guests enjoy a rewarding & unique experience. 46,000 acres of pristine African bush, home to abundant wildlife including endangered Grevy's zebra, Jackson's hartebeeste and, at certain times of year, wild dog. Reticulated giraffe, buffalo, warthog, Thomson & Grant's gazelle, Elephants,eland & dik diks are found in abundance.there are several lion pride in the conservancy as well as the famous cheetah brothers who call mugie their home.

In addition to game drives & bush walks, guests can also enjoy a range of activities during their stay at Mugie House:- Mugie School,- A visit to the school is an uplifting experience. Mugie has a team of bloodhounds assisting with community security & anti-poaching. Guests are able to visit the dogs and learn more about their training & abilities and even experience being tracked. A visit to the ranch headquarters offers an interesting insight into the day to day operations of a 46,000 acre ranch. The workforce includes carpenters, mechanics, herdsmen and even a nurse with a fully equipped clinic.


An infinity pool looks out over the plains below with a pool bar overlooking the waterhole and a changing room. The sitting room & dining room's huge windows also offer spectacular views of the water hole & beyond. All cottages, dining room, sitting room & verandah have log fires for chilly Laikipia evenings.


4 indulgently large cottages with ensuite bathrooms comprising full-size bathtub with a view, separate shower, double basins & WC. The sweeping views are enhanced by huge windows in both the bedrooms & bathrooms. There are 2 additional family rooms with shared verandah.All the cottages have fireplaces that are lit every evening whilst guests are having dinner
