Ekorian's Mugie Camp

Ekorian’s Mugie Camp is a small, family camp, owner run and hosted. Ekorian is the only camp in the Mugie conservancy, giving exculsive game viewing. The Camp is relaxed and cosy with a homey feeling. We offer a large range of activities to suit all ages and interests. Followed by a picnic and fishing on the island this a great way to spend your day out in the bush. Sundowners on the Deck over looking the dam between game drives, or for the more relaxed afternoon sitting by our new swimming pool watching the game at the salt lick. Mugie offers great sightings of the endangered Grevy Zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx and Jacksons hartebeest.

Need to Know

Ekorians Mugie Camp has just 6 tents and sleeps 12 people. The camp is Eco rated and runs off solar power. Our food is fresh, wholesome and healthy using many ingredients grown in our own organic garden. The camp is surrounded by a stone wall and electric fence, therefore its safe to walk around the grounds freely, and children can run and enjoy the space and camp activities we offer for them, such as making their own local bows and arrows. Our family consists of two small girls, 2 big dogs and a cat all of whom enjoy camplife and showing our guests around.

Ekorian's Mugie Camp has two open Landcruisers for game viewing which can be covered for protection of rain or sun. We also have a Suzuki which is excellent for photography getting in nice and low and is very quiet on approach. Our guides are very knowledgeable of the area being from near by.
