Ivory Lodge

An accessible family run safari camp located on a private concession of 6000 acres. A favourite destination for those interested in seeing elephant herds in great numbers from the comfort of their room or the luxury of the camp. It is also here that the famous Presidential Herd drinks – these elephants’ home-range is amongst the dense feeding areas of the Sikumi Vlei and where they find refuge from the scorching heat at Ivory’s water hole. All the comforts of a 3 star camp with amazing wildlife and game activities in camp. Family friendly and consists of 1 family room and 2 suites that can be converted to triples for families with children U12.

Ivory comprise of 7 thatched and elevated tree house style standard rooms, all commanding great views of a private and active waterhole. The rooms have been designed with ultimate comfort in mind in a Robinson Crusoe style, offering open-aired views of the floodlit waterhole. Ivory is a family friendly bush lodge with luxuries catering for a more rustic & authentic tree-house style African experience. Each tree-house consists of ensuite bathrooms with showers, mosquito nets, electric blankets, fans, tea & coffee station, hair dryers & a wardrobe. Plug points in the room are South African 3 pinned round plugs, grounded, 15A, 220-240V. International adaptors are available in the rooms. Hot water systems heated by electrical boiler 24/7.
