Naboisho Camp

Set on a private conservancy that is a shining example of conservation and communities working together, Naboisho Camp offers a rare opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the majestic Serengeti-Mara ecosystem. Expert guides lead guests on bush walks, night drives and wilderness excursions, offering exclusive and unparalleled access to one of the most remarkable natural areas on the planet. And at the heart of it all is Naboisho Camp; a stylish safari haven that touches the earth lightly while forever making its mark in your memories.

The attention given to the smallest details in Naboisho Camp, together with a team of staff dedicated to your every whim and an abundance of wildlife, is the recipe for the award-winning lodge which is difficult to improve upon.

Need to Know

Naboisho's eight luxury tents (indoor and outdoor showers) are situated in the 50,000 acre conservancy lying to the far east of the Mara/Serengeti Eco system. Lunch under the trees and dinner under the stars are not to be missed along with the excellent wilderness fly camping.

Wildlife HighlightsWildlife Highlights

The Mara Naboisho Conservancy has a higher density of wildlife than the adjacent Maasai Mara National Reserve. The conservancy has the big cats in big numbers. In fact, with roughly 100 lions living in the vicinity, it has one of the highest lion densities in the world. The largest pride in the Greater Mara Region - comprising 20 lions - has made the conservancy its home. Of course, such a healthy lion population would not be possible without an equally healthy wildlife food chain below it.

Naboisho Camp features 8 comfortable traditional styled safari tents with the option of being twins, doubles & triples. All tents have king-sized beds, en-suite bathroom including a flushing toilet, hand basin and traditional bucket shower. Each tent is in a unique location offering stunning views. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of the bush while relaxing on their private verandas. Showers can be requested at any time and hot & cold water is always available both at the inside basin and veranda basin in thermos’ and jugs.

Eight luxurious tented suites offer private facilities and king-size beds, with large screen windows to let the sights and sounds of the Kenyan wilderness astound you at every turn. The name Naboisho translates as ‘harmony’, and throughout the camp – from the low-impact canvas suites, to the organic construction of the main lodge – there’s careful consideration for offering a luxurious safari escape while touching the earth lightly.
