Norman Carr Safaris - Matamanene SHUT DOWN

Matamanene has four comfortable meru tents with ensuite bathrooms and is situated in a small woodland. Coming in 2017 to Luiwa Plains is Mambeti Camp. Mambeti will replace Matamanene and has been diesgned by award winning architects Silvo Rech and Lesley Carstens. The camp itself has been designed to enchance the horizon-line vistas and offer a unique oppotunity to experience safari on one of Africa's last untouched and remote wilderness areas; an exclusive location and ideal place to escape from the rest of the world.

Need to Know

Norman Carr Safari's has the only permanent safari camp in the area. The camp is situated 2.5 hours away from Kalabo Airstrip.
