Taasa Private Reserve

Taasa Private Reserve (previously known as Buffalo Luxury Camp) is situated approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Kleins Gate, on the North East border of the Serengeti National Park. The property forms part of Intimate Places Portfolio, a Tanzanian registered hotel management company which is family owned and family managed.

Need to Know

The camp has 15 split-level suite tents measuring approximately 60 square meters, each of which provides a veranda, comfortable lounge area, bedroom area and bathroom. The raised sleeping area features either a king size or twin beds made from recycled aluminium and decorated with traditional Maasai bead-work. The bathrooms have a soaking tub, separate shower, 2 basins, flush toilet, hair dryer and robes. All the rooms are fitted with an inverter system which powers all the lights and electricity sockets during the hours that the central generator is turned-off.

Lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, elephants, wild dogs, hyena, impala, warthogs and zebra are some of the many resident wildlife that can be found arund the camp and an even greater selection of animals in the close-by Serengeti National Park. There is also an enormous variety of birdlife to be found nearby the camp.
